Slotara
Multi-tenant appointment booking SaaS for salons, clinics, gyms and consultants.
Getting Started
IntroductionTenant owners manage their business through a dedicated Business Panel. You control the entire platform from the Super Admin Panel.
RequirementsAll of the following extensions must be enabled on your server:
InstallationSlotara ships with a visual web installer — no command line required. Upload the files, open your browser, and the wizard handles migrations, seeding, and .env configuration automatically.
Docker InstallationSlotara ships with a ready-to-use Docker Compose stack. You do not need PHP, MySQL, Nginx, Supervisor, or Node.js installed on your host machine — Docker runs everything in containers.
ConfigurationAll runtime configuration lives in Admin → Settings. Changes take effect immediately — no server restart or cache clear needed.
Web Server SetupCreate /etc/nginx/sites-available/slotara:
UpgradingWhen a new version is out, super admins see "Slotara X is available — Update now" at the top of the admin panel (Slotara checks once a day). Open System → License & Updates, read what's new, and…
License ActivationSlotara asks for your Envato purchase code once, the first time a super admin opens the admin panel. Activation checks the code with Envato and ties it to your domain. Everything license-related…
Super Admin Panel
OverviewNavigate to https://yourdomain.com/admin. Only users assigned the superadmin role can access this panel.
Dashboard & SettingsThe admin dashboard is your platform health snapshot. It loads automatically when you visit /admin.
User ManagementEvery user is assigned one or more roles that determine which panel they can access and what they can do inside it.
Businesses (Tenants)Each business record stores the following:
Subscription PlansTenants on a free plan are provisioned immediately at registration — no payment step.
Email TemplatesSlotara's emails are built from two layers:
Roles & PermissionsSlotara ships with five built-in roles. Each role controls which panels a user can access and what actions they can take.
Contact InboxThe Inbox sidebar item shows a red badge with the count of unread New messages. The badge disappears when all messages are moved to In Progress or Resolved.
Security & LogsSlotara automatically records every create, update, and delete action performed by any user across the entire platform.
Business Panel
OverviewThe Business Panel is the day-to-day workspace for every tenant. Owners, providers, and staff each see a view tailored to their role.
Form Builder⭐ Flagship Feature Your entire booking page — configured in one place The Form Builder is a multi-tab control centre for your public booking page. Set your business profile, manage services &…
ServicesAny service can be marked as virtual to support online/video appointments. The Virtual Session section appears at the bottom of the service edit form.
Providers & StaffProviders are the bookable team members — the people clients actually schedule time with. Each provider has their own profile, schedule, and service assignments.
BookingsEach booking moves through a lifecycle from creation to completion:
ClientsThe Clients section is a live CRM view automatically built from your booking history. No manual data entry — every client who books with you appears here automatically.

Features
Multi-TenancyThink of it like a shared office building: every tenant has their own locked office (their data), but the building infrastructure (the platform) is shared.
Custom DomainsCustom domains let each business serve its booking page on a domain it owns — for example booking.acme.com — instead of the default your-app.com/acme (or acme.your-app.com) URL.
Multi-LanguageSlotara ships with complete UI translations for 8 popular languages. Every panel — Super Admin, Business, and the public-facing booking pages — is fully translated. Users switch language with a…
SMS NotificationsSlotara can send outbound SMS to clients for booking events using each tenant's own Twilio account. SMS mirrors the existing email notification architecture and is fully opt-in at both the…
Booking PaymentsSlotara supports online payment collection at the time of booking, as well as offline payment recording by staff. Payment is intentionally separated from Slotara's SaaS subscription billing — each…
Google Calendar SyncSlotara provides two-way Google Calendar synchronisation. New bookings create calendar events for the provider; when providers block time on their Google Calendar, those slots are automatically…
Stripe PaymentsSlotara uses Stripe Checkout to collect subscription payments from your tenants (the businesses that sign up on your platform). When a new business registers on a paid plan, they are redirected to…
Email & NotificationsSlotara sends transactional emails for booking events, account actions, and contact form submissions. All emails use Laravel's mail system via your configured SMTP provider and are dispatched…
reCAPTCHA v3Slotara uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect the contact form from spam bots. Unlike v2, reCAPTCHA v3 is completely invisible — there's no checkbox, no image challenge, no interruption. Google…
Password PolicySlotara includes a configurable password policy that enforces complexity rules, prevents password reuse, and can force periodic password changes. Changes take effect immediately for all users.
