Installing updates with one click

New versions install from the admin panel, with no files to upload:

- Open License & Updates (or click Update now in the banner when an update is out).
- Click Check for updates if you don't see the new version yet.
- Read what's new and click Update. A progress bar shows each step; it usually takes under a minute.
The updater checks the update is signed by us, backs up every file it changes, replaces only the files that changed, keeps your .env, uploads and edited translations, runs the database migrations and clears caches. If anything fails, your previous files are restored automatically.
On an older version? Install the version from the table once by hand (upload the new files, then run php artisan migrate --force and php artisan optimize:clear). Every update after that is one click.
Before updating, take a database backup from your hosting panel.
"File can't be written"? The web server user can't modify the app's files. Fix the ownership, e.g. chown -R www-data:www-data /path/to/app, or update manually as above.
Prefer the command line? Run php artisan licentra:update.
Updates never change your add-on modules or their data; those update separately from the Modules page.
