Reports (Firm Admin)

URL: /admin/reports
Purpose: Understand how the practice is performing.

What reports show

Depending on your data, expect summaries such as:

Report area What it tells you
Revenue Paid revenue by month
Matters Counts and status mix
Caseload Performance by service type
Payments Breakdown by payment method

How to use reports

  1. Open Reports each week or month.
  2. Compare revenue and caseload to last period.
  3. Investigate dips with Matters and Invoices.
  4. Pair with Expenses for a simple profit picture.

Super Admin has separate platform analytics under Analytics and Platform Overview.

Platform Settings (Super Admin)

General

  • Application name
  • Support email
  • Read-only system information

AI / OpenAI

Field Purpose
API key Required for AI features

Use Test OpenAI after saving.

WhatsApp (platform)

Field Purpose
Verify token Webhook verification
App secret Signature validation
Access token Sending / Graph API
Graph version API version string

Firm phone mapping is done in Firm Settings → Integrations.

Payments (platform)

Platform-level Stripe / Razorpay credentials where the SaaS uses them.
Client checkout keys are primarily configured per firm (see below).

Email (SMTP)

Field Purpose
Host / Port Mail server
Username / Password SMTP auth
From address / name Visible to clients

Use Test SMTP. Without this, matter and invoice emails will not leave the server.

Firm Settings

URL: /admin/settings

General

Firm name, contact details, timezone, basic identity.

Tax & Fees

Tax rates and fee rules applied to matters/invoices.

Policies

Cancellation and house policies shown or used in communications/site.

Payments

Option Meaning
Pay at firm Client books without online capture
Stripe Card checkout with your Stripe keys
Razorpay Razorpay checkout
PayPal PayPal Orders checkout

Enter the keys for gateways you enable. Configure provider webhooks as shown on the screen so paid matters confirm reliably.

Integrations

  • WhatsApp phone number mapping for this firm
  • Other integration flags as shown

Theme & Branding

Colours, logo, branding for the public site. Optional AI help to generate a theme if credits allow.

Domain

Custom domain / subdomain settings for the public website.

API Access

Generate or revoke an API token so external systems can integrate with this firm. Availability depends on your plan.

Notifications

Toggles for which client emails this firm wants to emphasise (e.g. matter confirmation). Automatic reminder jobs may still depend on platform scheduling. See Email Notifications.

Settings checklist before go-live

  1. Platform SMTP tested
  2. OpenAI key tested (if using AI)
  3. At least one plan and one firm created
  4. Firm payment mode chosen and keys saved
  5. Service types + services created
  6. Website published
  7. Test matter + confirmation email received
